Produit par l’Institut de Cinéma Palestinien et le Syndicat Général de Femmes Palestiniennes, le film relate la vie des orphelins dans la maison “Beit Al-Somoud” des Martyrs de Tall Azaarar, qui fut établie par le Syndicat des Femmes (GUPW). À travers leurs vies, le film montre la souffrance qu’endurent les enfants palestiniens dans les camps de la diaspora sous occupation israélienne. Le film fait le point sur la contradiction entre la Convention relative aux droits de l’enfant (ONU) et la réalité des conditions de vie des enfants palestiniens.

Children Nevertheless is a film on the life of the orphans of Tall Al-Zaatar Martyrs in “ Bait Al- Somoud ”, the house that the GUPW established for them. The film shows the sufferings that Palestinian children experience in diaspora camps and under Israeli occupation, and focuses on the contradiction between the “International Declaration of Child Rights” and the reality that Palestinian children live.
Produced by the Palestinian Cinema Institute & General Union of Palestinian Women (GUPW), the film won the prize of the jury of Baghdad International of Films and TV Programs on Palestine 1980.
يقوم الفيلم على المفارقة الواقعة في حياة الأطفال الفلسطينين اللاجئين في المخيمات الفلسطينية وفي الأراض
الفلسطينية المحتلة، والتي تخلو من أبسط الحقوق الانسانية المقرة من المجتمع الدولي في ” الاعلان العالمي لحقوق الطفل”. ويتناول الفيلم حياة مجموعة من أطفال تل الزعتر الذين فقدوا والديهم اثناء حصار تل الزعتر عام 1976، والذين احتضنهم الاتحاد العام للمرأة الفلسطينية في ” بيت أطفال الصمود “. ويتعرض الفيلم من خلال حياة هؤلاء الأطفال لواقع الأطفال الفلسطينين في المخيمات الفلسطينية، في المنافي وتحت الاحتلال الاسرائلي. ويقدم صورة عن أوضاعهم المعيشية والتعليمية والانسانية والأمنية. في ظل الاعتداءات الاسرائيلية المستمرة، والاستغلال البشع الذي يتعرض له الأطفال الفلسطينين تحت الاحتلال
