Le documentaire Tell your tale, Little Bird (Raconte-moi une histoire, petit oiseau), filmé en 1993, se concentre sur sept femmes palestiniennes impliquées dans la lutte pour la libération de la Palestine. Il retrace leurs expériences personnelles, notamment leur contribution au combat palestinien armé des années 1960s et 70, leur arrestation et leur emprisonnement. À travers leurs récits, nous comprenons mieux ce qui fait de ces femmes des symboles de la lutte de leur peuple.

Tell your tale, Little Bird is a documentary about Palestinian women fighters, filmed in 1993. It recounts the experiences of seven Palestinian women involved in the national liberation struggle, including their experience of arrest and imprisonment. These women took part in the military fight of the Palestinian people back in the sixties and seventies. Through their tales, we understand what made these women the symbols of their people’s fight.

A narrative that tells about the history that shaped the dream of the seventies generation, at a time when the currently prevailing documentation schools are trying to obliterate the spirit of this experience. The film confirms the presence of the memory of the resistance and its penetration into the depth of the female self, its spread through oral literature, and its continuation as a political act. عن سبع نساء فدائيات فلسطينيات من جيل السبعينات يحكون الحكاية الفلسطينية من الاحتلال إلى المقاومة من خلال تجربة حياتهم. بالنسبة لمادة فيلم احكي يا عصفورة هذه المادة هي جزء من 35 ساعة صورتها مع عدد من نساء كانوا بالمعنى التاريخي لا الأدبي طلائع الكفاح المسلح الفلسطيني فهن قد أسسن بفعلهم بداية المشاركة النسائية في كفاح الشعب الفلسطيني المسلح كنت قد استخدمت جزء من هذه المادة في فيلم سابق ” مرآة جميلة” و الحقيقة أن السبع شخصيات في فيلمي ليسوا كل من صورت و لكن هذا الفيلم هو اختيار لمجموعة سرديتها تحمل درجة عالية من التجانس و أتمنى في مشاريع قادمة أن يكون هناك حضور للشخصيات التي صورتها آنذاك. خصوصية فيلمي هذا في سردية نسائية واثقة و غير معتذرة بل و فخورة. سردية تحكي عن تاريخ شكل حلم جيل السبعينات في الوقت الذي تحاول فيه مدارس التوثيق السائدة حاليا طمس روح هذه التجربة. الفيلم تأكيد على حضور ذاكرة المقاومة و تغلغلها في عمق الذات النسائية و انتشارها من خلال الأدب الشفاهي و استمرارها كفعل سياسي . و الفيلم قدم قراءة داخلية لتجربة هؤلاء النساء ( مشاعرهم ذاكرتهم العاطفية و منطق تفكيرهم)
